  • ACUTE GLOMERULONEPHRITIS - by DEBBIE - (Mon, Feb 16 2009)
My dad died of this disease when he was 22yrs old. He was not overweight, was not a diabetic, and did not have high blood pressure. I on the other hand am overweight, diabetic and have high blood pressure along with other medical problems. I have had my kidneys shut down once on me. Me grandfather on my mother’s side had brights disease when he was 14. He was told he would die before the age of 50, he died at age 47. I was wondering if either of these could be inherited and what I should watch out for. I am all ready going to a kidney specialist. Please let me know. [more..]
