She spent more time in the hospital with an I.V. in her arm and you could literally see her coming out of the daze. A few weeks ago, I woke up in the middle of the night so neauseated that I had to change everything on my bed. This continued the next day plus I then had diarrhea. I felt tired and slept most of the time. What has scared me is that during this time, I was slurring my words, making statements that made no sense and my brother thought I had been drinking (I do not drink). One of my children thought I had had a stroke And me,I went on through the days totally unaware anything was wrong with me. In fact, I remember not a thing. My spouse went out and got me a bottle of a rehydrate drink. It helped. I was also taken to the doctor, however by then, I had rehydrated myself. My problem is that I don’t know what caused it unless it was the long drive I drove to Florida and back. Plus just prior to this trip, I quit my job as a Greeter at Meijer. What was a part-time job ended up with me working 40 hours per week standing in one spot with no liquid til break time which was often over a 4 hour wait. My problem is that I am terrified that this is going to happen to me again and I don’t know how to keep it from not happening. I am still drinking the hydration drinks and they are helping. But, I remain so scared and now have myself stressed out. So keep drinking fluids and hopefully none of us will have this frightening episode again. Comments
