To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Gross Hematuria after Adrenalectomy for HyperAldosteronism About a month ago I had a right adrenalectomy because of diagnosed Hyper Aldosteronism. CT tests have found some 3-4 cysts in each of my kidneys. About two weeks after surgery I had a first incident of blood in my morning urine. 2nd urine of the day was pinkish and 3rd was clear or almost clear. This happened 3 more time within the last 2 weeks. I know from reading on the web that kidney cysts are smaller or reduced in number after adrenal removal and solving the Hypokalemia and Hyper Aldo. I am theorizing that the hematuria is cysts emptying and was wondering if anyone can support or add to this. February 2010
