I was hospitalized for 43 days and treated with plasmapheresis and blood transfusions. I am still on dialysis and am hoping my kidneys may recover enough to stop the dialysis. The doctors don’t know if that will happen because this disease is so rare in adults. Looking for others who have gone through similar situation. February 2008
