To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Kidney Stone leads to Prostatitis I had my first (hopefully last) kidney stone in April 2007. The stone passed in about 4 days of the worst pain I have ever felt. About 7-10 days later I developed Prostatitis No big deal, it usually can be cleared up by two weeks of antibiotics. Not this time. After 80 days of Cipro and 7 weeks of anti-inflamatories, I still can’t sit down for more than 5 minutes without quite a bit of pain. My work involves sitting at a computer for 10 hours per day 4 days per week. I haven’t been back to work for almost 5 months now. My Urologist has me on an Alpha-blocker plus anti-inflamatory as the Cipro didn’t work anyway. I’ve never had this problem continue for so long. Getting panicky about it never getting better. I’m only 55 and feel like a 90 year old. Has anyone there ever heard of a kidney stone producing an especially stubborn case of prostatitis? Thanks for any feedback. Comments
