To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Kidney Stones Hi, my name is Carol. I have been forming stones since the age of 19, now 45. I reside in NJ and was totally misdiagnosed by my same doctor of 23 years with MSK [medullary sponge kidney]!!!! I went to a doctor in Chicago who has greatly helped me! I no longer form stones and they have all stayed passable!!! PAIN is my life. I get maybe 2 good days a month if I am lucky!! However, at least the stones are passing! I would like to tell everyone that standing on your head when a stone is passing helps a great deal lots and lots of water! If your drinking enough water you will think you are a fish lol! NO LEMONADE until you know your stones composition, although I have NEVER heard of lemonade from any Doctor in my life!!! Keep your head up and search, search, search until you find out why you make these stones! For every stone there is a CAUSE!!!! Do not let yourself get depressed as there are so many others who are worse off than us stone sufferers!! Although it does not seem possible******it’s true!!! I average a stone about two to three times a month so I do know what you are all feeling!!!! The main thing is to find the cause and address it!! Please WATCH THE LIPOTRIPOSYS!!!! They have left so much dust in my medullary that it’s hard to believe my kidneys even function! This can never be fixed!!! If only I had mine surgically removed! PS your B.P. will spike during a stone attack!!! Good Luck Carol Comments
