Said they were fixed on both sides and would never have a problem again. We after several days of pain last weekend, I self diagnosed myself with a stone and went to urgent care. Got pain meds and a wait and see approach. Spent later that night in the Er on a morphine drip ( turns out I am allergic). They tried to refuse a CT scan saying it will give me cancer. I persevereved to learn I had a 8mmx5mm stone. I found myself a new urologist and he did surgury yesterday to remove it with a scope and leave a stint in for three weeks. I felt so bad the morning before the scope that I feel amazing today. It is cool how intense pain can change your perspective about some painful urination that looks like Cherry Kool-Aid. I am gla dI was proactive and got the ball rolling myself. Advocate for yourself. I was told I had only a 20-30% change to pass this thing alone in the next 4 weeks. No pain for that long is worth it. Find a good urologist I had one before that removed my stents in the office with no pain meds and it was awful. That can be the hardest part if not done right. Good Luck to all. Comments
