kidney stones

i have had stones since 2003 and i have now been told that i have 7mm kidney stone and its always in my right kidney, just been in hospital (6 days) and had a J stent inserted and have been bleeding quite a lot since the insertion last week (30 May 08) now i have been told by the nursing staff i am to have lithotripsy on the 3rd June,and this is what i have been waiting for and lets hope that, 1) it will be on the 3rd June because i am in so much pain. 2) this will end it all (touch wood).

My husbands has had undiagnosable penile pain interminently for 8-10 years. It increased in frequency the last few years. He is in NYC region and has been to 8 urologists and 2 internists. I was afraid of something warning him of major dangerous development. Finally the 7th urologists Kat scanned his kidneys and surpisingly confirmed he had 4 kidney stones [more..]

At 26wk preg a 8mmx7mm kidney stone was found, a stent was placed and it is to remain in until after the pregnancy. Since the stent has been in I have been unable to leave the bed, only to go to the toilet. [more..]
