To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Stones and UTI’s For years I have had stones. They have only given me problems one time. I would have rather given birth than to go through that again. The pain was quit horrible. Now many years later. I was pregnant with my 2nd child. at about 5 months long I had some problems. The hospitla did an ultrasound and found 4 stones in each kidney. But that wasn’t causing my problem at the time. So the stones were left alone. Now 9 months since that ultrasound I now have a 4 mth old daughter. I since have had at least 6 UTI’s. Treated by a dr. with antibiotics and a culture that was neg. All unsuccessful. Now here i sit again in pain. Today I did an at home uti test. That showed high white blood cell count, but no nitrates. The bottle says if this happens to contact your dr. right away. I have called every dr there is. With a 2 wk or more wait to get in. I just don’t understand why. I feel that the stones may be causing a bigger problem. I have an appointment monday with the physician’s assistant, and on July 30 with a urologist I am sure by then this uti will pass. ANY IDEAS on what I should do????? Comments
