To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download ESWL didn’t work! Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) did nothing to my 1.8 cm kidney stone. Prior to that I had a stent put in because the stone had completely blocked my kidney & caused infection. I am scheduled for a laser blast on Monday. I pray that this will work. The doctor said it will be a while before the stent can be removed. August 2009
