Kidney Stone’s does it ever stop
by: Quinten on Tue, Nov 10 2009

Hi all.
I am a 39 year old male, and have had 5 Uric acid stones in 2 years. They ranged from 10mm to 1,7cm in size.

I lead a fairly normal and active lifestyle and yes occasionally step over the line, having a few to many drinks.

I work in the offshore diving industry so have to have an annual medicl check up,and all is normally good.

Now the question is how do i stop getting Uric Acid Stones, even when i’m drinking 10liters of water a day.
What kind of diet can i follow that is low in PURINE because offshore do not have a choice in whats being prepared, foodwise?

Regards
Quinten
