my son was diagnosed a month before he turned three. It took us probably over nine months to get him in remission. He took steroids cytoxin and then he took prograf.

Prograf seemed to work the best since then we have not had any problems till about 4 months ago. My son relapsed again started him on 20ml of steroids a day with 5mg of prograf everything seemed to be going good protein was negative started decreasing steroids to every other days and decrease my 2ml a week once we get down to eight his protein goes back up start 20 ml of steriods 7mg of prograf everything goes good start reducing steroids then change prograf to 6mg get down to eight ml of steroids relaspes again.

Now I am having issues. my son gained 20 pounds in a matter of a couple months and the only thing they keep wanting to do is up steroids again. I want to try something else but they don’t seem to be anything that they think would help. if any body can offer me any time of advise please let me know
