Polycystic Kidney disease runs in my family. My brother who is 1 years older than me was born with it, I was tested every year while growing up and it showed I didn’t have it. But recently I think that it has changed I just know I’m in trouble now. I do not have a doctor, I am afraid to be test!!

I have had kideny infections before so I know what cyst feels like but infections usually go away after I few days and this has been going on for several months!I am sitting here in front of my phone book again thinking on making an appointment with a Urologist or a Nephrologist. I don’t think I could handle knowing but I know it will get worse.

I’m also worried it will put a huge strain on my marriage financially. I saw what this did to others in my family , my grandmother died at 42 my uncle died at 42 I am now 41! My mother had specialist and several tranplants but died anyways. My 2 aunts are both on dialysis my aunt has had 3 transplant both aunts look so bad they have suffer most of their lives, they are so much braver than me….
